I saw the clip where he said there could be some disciipline. He stated that Cox punch Staley. I have yet to see a vid on it.

From the clip I see it looks like Fletcher was putting his hands up to avoid the block in the back penalty. It is a very bad angle but I don't see a punch.

Apparently he hit him through the facemask and broke his face that way. I would be surprised if it results in a suspension as it would be hard to say this was on purpose, but he may get fined.

Was he wearing Joe Thieseman's helmet? I can only imaging how big a fist Fletcher Cox has. I agree with you though about no suspension. No one yet has come out and said this was a dirty play nor have I seen any complaints so far.

Sure couldn't see anything in that view except Staley down and Cox with his hands up. Just based on that, though, I agree that a suspension might be a bit much to expect. Here's hoping....

It sounds like he didn't actually throw a punch, but that his fingers hit him through the facemask. I just can't see the NFL concluding that was a punch, and on purpose, because it sounds like it was more a bad attempt at a block than anything. Now, was it a dirty crack back type of block? Maybe. That's more the issue though.
