TONS of old blues tunes that have been covered by rockers over the years, while nobody can improve on any Robert Johnson song, this is my favorie attempt.

Lonnie Johnson owned the original, and here it is debatable if Elvis 's take is better.

Elvis has covered, Junior Parker, Johnson, Big Mama Thornton, Big Boy Crudup, Bill Monroe, and gotta be forgetting somebody.

Robert Johnson did a version of it too..so have numerous other bluesmen from that era ....but I posted the original and a more contemporary cover that wasn't by Eric Clapton...lol.
I mean I love EC no doubt...but he's got so many blues covers in his catalog, plus, the Hot Tuna cover is one of my faves.
