I hear you RA..........honestly, I feel like this Husker team is special (and will be really special next season).....

I also feel that the UCLA game would be a different turnout now......

Thee only problem is, what I feel and how Bo prepares his team seem to be 2 completely different things on such a consistent basis.

Damon Benning tonight made a great point. Nebraska shows great ability to fight through adversity............but when are they going to show the ability to win big game after big game?

This week is a big game......last week was a big game. Week after our bye week is a big game. Week after that is a big game. Week after that is a big game. Are we gonna be able to get up for this many big games in a row when we've never been able to EVER do it under Pelini before?

I don't know that we have just never been able, but more like we have never had the need. In the Big xii it was more like big game, yawner, yawner, medium big game, yawner, big game.
Now in the B1G it is something that needs to be learned. I think (read hope) that this was made evident last year and the coaches have come up with a way to remedy it. I think that this team has shown that it can play somewhat consistently so far this season.
This whole season will be very telling for us all. The second time through the conference will give us an idea of how good our staff really is.

Nebraska is the best team in the Big 10...........even better than Ohio State. I've come to that conclusion.

Will that be thee case this weekend? I think so........but we shall see. I honestly see an opportunity for Nebraska to win big this weekend. We don't even need to take away Miller's legs.......if we focus on that too much we are going to end up losing as it opens the entire Offense up for Ohio State.

Nebraska makes a statement this weekend.

Nebraska - 31
Ohio State - 16

I honestly think that we will see Braxton throwing the ball a lot more then running. Plus Miller is a China doll so I am not to worried about him running anyway. I dont know how much Urban will have him running by design now when he is pressured I think he will take off like a scared rabbit. Nebraskas offensive line needs to hold water all night long we have to controle the lines get pressure on D and allow plays to develope on O.

P.J. Smith said that he feels like practicing against Taylor is exactly like playing against Braxton :L

Please God let the coaching staff think differently. If we prepare to stop Taylor, we'll never be prepared to stop Braxton. Braxton Miller is an elite running QB.

I agree.

Martinez is a N/S runner. He needs a lane to make his gains. He's not going to juke anyone out of their shoes.

Miller is a scrambler w/ good field vision. He can run N/S/E/W. He breaks tackles and makes people miss.

Speaking of PJ, he's dropped 2 INT's this year.

One in the endzone @ UCLA and one last Saturday vs Wisconsin. At least he gets credit for the pass break-up, but INT's put NU's offense back on the field.

My point here is the kid puts himself in position to make big plays and hopefully he'll get one this weekend.

Miller is not considered a great passer, is mistake prone, and he has no Abberdaris quality rcvr to throw to. Hopefully the secondary will get some opportunities this weekend.

Pelini and Joseph are very familiar with what CUM wants his offense to do.
