Last but not least, there will probably be a framed photo of this moment hanging in the stairwell up to the Air Canada Club by tonight's game. Well done, Tobasco. Just get one over your old team tonight please.

Andersen's out tonight.

It can never just be all good, can it.
Also, should note that he isn't showing concussion symptoms. It's just an abundance of caution.

Still, WE LOVE YOU NOW TOBASCO DON'T BLOW THIS!

I remember those days. I got over it, eventually.

Good luck against Washington. You should take out Holtby and make it even. Just play him dirty a whole game, as long as the play that takes him out can be argued as clean, everything will be okay.

I'm more concerned with the fact two of our RHD's went down injured against a team with a kinda good LW.

Ovechkin is injury-prone, right?

In Elliotte's 30 this week he says Rob Blake was offered the Leafs GM spot before it was given to Lou.

No reason to doubt that Blake will do well as Kings GM but that would’ve been a lot of inexperience at one management table. The Kings will have to deal with that now.

Came across this photo of the "southcore" area of downtown T.O in the early 80s that I thought was worth sharing today:

That lone building on the left in front of the Gardiner? That's where the ACC is today.

Aside from when events are going on at the ACC that might be the most soulless area ever built.

Toronto keeps getting giant parcels of land with which to do awesome shit with and they just keep making the same development mistakes over and over.

I don't see it so I'm guessing the Phil's favorite hot dog stand wasn't around at this time?
