So, in addition to the 43 wins in a season being a franchise best, the win last night was their 25th at home, also a franchise best. And they are one point behind their best ever points finish.

Zach Werenski, with his assist on Foligno's goal notched his 40th point of the season, besting Rick Nash for the record for points by a rookie in Jackets history (!). He is 11 points behind the all time club mark of 51 points by Wisniewski.

Seth Jones is now at 37 points. 3 more and it will be the first time in Jackets history they will have 2 D men with 40+ points.


This has been an enjoyable ride. That's for sure.

I wouldn't. From Dec. 31 to the start of this 4 game streak where he has 5 pts (you were close) he had 8 pts in 28 games. All scoring is streaky but that's a pretty big drop-off.

Hey, if the guy will take Matt Stajan money it might be worth it but anything more and, well, they've had enough poor contracts over the years for you to see the writing on the wall.

Yep. And he drew back in early from his other injury. He wasn't even supposed to be playing that game. One or two shifts and BLAM. His whole arm dropped immediately.

And less than 10 seconds before it happened, Jeff Rimer said "It's great to see Murray Back and over his injury problems the past few years."

Werenski is as closely tied to Phoenix as Glendale is, which is not at all.

Him and Mathews became friends playing for the U15 US National team.
