Fun game to watch for an Avs fan. Slow start, but with "The Kid" taking the game over and Varly shoring up, the game was never really in doubt after the 1st period.
I'll be interesting to see how both teams play in St Paul on tomorrow.

Boy that's some desperation - I can see Fontaine coming in for Veilleux, Fontaine gives them more speed but I think Kyle Brodziak is much better than Heatley

As Johnny said Brodziak has been an embarrassment. Saying he's played a 4 year old girl with 1 leg is an insult to that poor little girl.
Heatly might give a spark. He can't at least rip it and maybe he will be embarrassed going from perennial All Star to healthy scratch during the stretch run.
Fontaine is obviously a key. He has a knack for putting the puck in the goal. Idk why he wasn't in to begin with.
