If Brodziak died, I literally would cheer. What a pile of shit.

It certainly didn't help that Minny was only able to get the puck out of their zone twice in the entire 3+ minutes the 'Lanche had an empty net...

Finally got a chance to sit down & watch my tape of, well... most of the game (didn't have it set long enough to get the OT play). I've always been a fan of Brodiak's heart/effort, but sometimes he leaves his brain behind, & this time it likely cost Minny the win. :L

Outside of that, I thought that it was a pretty solid effort by the Wild. The only other thing that I didn't like was McCormick's willingness to get sucked in by the Avs efforts to get under his skin: He needs to work on that before it costs us a goal - or two.

Hate to tell you, but that won't change. I cheered when I heard McCormick was getting traded out of Buffalo.

It was good to see us get the win on a night that Varly wasn't at the top of his game and our Defensemen failed to show up. I hope we get this straightened out Saturday and keep me out of cardiac arrest.

I think the biggest key is Varly, the Avs have given up a lot of shots this season anyways so it wasn't much different, it's just that Varly wasn't as sharp in this game - if he's sharp next game he won't allow four goals

O no doubt there were other factors

And obviously need to give the avs credit for making the big plays. The wild had a lot of the pressure in OT going but once the avs got their chance, they didn't miss it. That is what playoff hockey is all about.

Coming in a 1-1 split was all we ever wanted and that is still possible, just frusterating being so close to playing game 2 with house money.

I have always had a soft spot for Colorado even before they got my all time fav player Ray Bourque. Seeing Sakic not hoist the cup and hand it right to Ray was something as a sports fan I will never forget.

Go AV's!!
