I put him up because he did lead the team in the assists and points, but I understand

Yep, just in case some of the Norwegians may not know

Next men up:
Landeskog 65 pts
O'Reilley 64 pts

I know that this shouldn't be Minny's year for a deep run, but man-o-man I was hoping for a match up vs. St. Louis (let's face it; who isn't ATM? :D): They might have had a decent chance to make it past the 1st round.

I just don't have a good feeling about taking on the Avs. :(

Don't get me wrong, no match up is one that you want

But I far prefer the Avs to the Blues.

Yeah; I've been pleasantly surprise by how many of the sports writers that I've read like Minny's chances. It seems to come down to their believing that the Avs will get a big case of the "our 1st time in the playoffs" gitters, and make too many mistakes.

Not sure what was with the random "gahh" emoticon on my post lol

Yeah I've been seeing most people pick the Avs but a lot think the Wild can pull it off. The fact Duchene is out is huge and the Avs are inexperienced. The Wild have some young guys too but at least played in the playoffs last year. A healthy Granlund would be big for more balance. Hopefully guys like Moulson and Pominville have big series because we have the necessary punch.

I think the biggest thing is the Avs are not a strong team at puck possession and keeping the play on the other end of the ice. They are not like teams like Chicago and San Jose who play most of the game in your end on offense.

Both teams hot and playing well. This will be the marquee matchup of this round. Looking forward to it.
