Naw, it's a statement more than a finalized vote. And the message is clear.
I would be surprised if UW didn't pass them up well before that time, like maybe after the USC game. LSU is the last major game on their schedule while UW hits USC and WSU. If we beat both neither will probably be ranked at seasons end, but this committee is smart enough to know who was playing good ball when beaten and who wasn't.
These rankings changed quite a bit the last two years over the closing weeks and this year won't be any different.
usc is a quality win? and here i thought we were crap....
it will all work out, but if you were the committee how do you rationalize wash jumping a&m assuming a&m rolls through the end of the season? wash wins the ccg over a team they've already beat and that wasn't enough to put them ahead of a&m in week 6??? doesn't make sense me.
if these polls have credence, a&m wins out and they are in. other wise the week 6 poll is nothing but a bettors handicap
