After watching UNC beat up the cats, I was sure UK was not going to beat a good team. They did tonight and looked impressive doing it.

Nah...that didn't happen. This is too venomous a rivalry for one team to run away with the game.

Ky and Louisville fans and coaches hate each other with a passion; and they both make sure the players understand how important the game is.

I don't think Louisville needed to destroy Kentucky, in Lexington, to knock them out of the polls. Kentucky had much more to prove last night; that they deserved a top 25 ranking. IMO, neither team looked like world-beaters but UK proved their ranking.

I understand what you are saying, but UK's 3 losses were to decent teams. There was no bad loss..i.e. a team that wasn't even ranked or not a good team.

IMO to drop out of the top 25{after being in the top 10}, you lose to at least 2 teams that cause everybody to raise an eyebrow when you do lose

That should give you a feel for what to expect most weeks. I'll try to put up more games on the week...20 is a good number. There will be games from the mid major conferences. I'm looking for the competitive games involving teams I think we will see in March. If you see I am overlooking a team or two, let me know and I'll get them in down the road.

Picking above 70% on the year will not be easy. The season is long so don't worry if you have to miss a week or two. I think we all will be out of the area at one time or another. I may need some help on weeks I'm away or busy to keep this rolling. I'll put up a post to let you guys know if I'll be away.

Good picks, Rmilia and Jonvi. Not an easy task to get above 70% by any means.

BYU really let me down. After taking Oregon to OT they get run over by a mediocre LMU. Loyola could make a little noise in their conference, however, especially if they can get a win over the Zags.

Good win for GTech over a scrappy Charlotte. Looking at the Yellow Jackets' conference schedule tells me it'll be a battle to reach the NCAA Tourney but they'll have a pretty decent resume if they can get 18-20 wins.

Iowa is a matchup problem for the Badgers and the Hawks have played extremely well their last 2 trips into Kohl ( 7 point win 2 years ago, 2 OT loss last year in game Iowa led by 9 with 4 minutes left). Plus I just legit think Iowa is the better team. LOL
