Where you start out the season ranked should have no bearing on the rankings in week 6. Reward teams for big wins.

It's not like the rankings this week will mean much when determining who makes the playoffs. If Ole Miss craps the bed next week, move them down accordingly and call the Bama win a fluke. A lot of football left to play. But right now, the top 3 needs to be.

1. FSU
2. Auburn
3. Ole Miss

I said in another post, TCU, Miss St. and Ole Miss may be out of gas next week after leaving it all on the field to win yesterday.

I'm not that worried about it really. I just stated my opinion on what the stop 3 needs to be and stated I'm glad that UGA is back in the top 10.

But I felt you wanted to discuss the topic, so I obliged.

And I don't know why Miss St would be out of gas. They won easily. I won't pick them to beat Auburn because I think Auburn is the better team, but if they lose to Auburn it won't have anything to do with easily beating A&M.

We have Louisville next week, then BC, 'Cuse, Wake, GT, Ga St., and USC. We just need GT to keep rolling through the Coastal division and USC to right their ship and win the rest of their games until Nov. 29th.

That's understandable. I guess I don't give Miss St as much credit because of how A&M barely scraped by Arkansas at Kyle Field last week, and how it took Arkansas shooting themselves in the foot with stupid penalties to get A&M back in the game. I am biased towards Ole Miss, they are my number 2 team behind UGA, but I think the Bama win should land them in third.

It's definitely a winnable schedule. GT's golden horseshoe has to run out sometime or another. They could easily have 3 losses.

The ease at which they beat A&M makes me put them in front of Ole Miss, I know the LSU win doesn't look as good as once would have, but Tiger Stadium is hard place to win, even if LSU is down.

Texas AM very over rated this year

They never got the benefit of those high preseason rankings when they were in the B12, this is the real A&M, good enough to pull an upset or beat a good team once in a while, but can't sustain it.

How the hell does Stanford drop 9 places with that outfuckingstanding D? Trees lost that game because of their O. Domers were lucky to survive and will lose to someone along the lines this year.

Maybe it was because they were favored to win? Maybe it's because we put up almost 400 yards of offense and had more plays of 20+ yards against them in one half than they gave up all season. The only reason the game was as close as it was was Golson fumbling inside his own 20, a red zone TO and two botched FG's because our holder couldn't get it down. On the contrary, Stanford was lucky it was as close as it was. That said, this team is more than capable of dropping a game with the schedule it has left. Especially the way this season is going so far

I hear you. It's completely understandable to rank Miss State ahead of Ole Miss(it is for Baylor to be ahead of them too, even though I disagree).

I think Michigan State should be above Alabama. MSU has a win over Top 25 team.
