Been a tough 48 hours for the Huskies. This tugs on your emotions greatly.
But I think it played out as well as it could. I have a lot of faith that Jimmy Lake is the right guy for the job and the transition was neck wrecking fast, but still handled very nicely.
We have a lot of great coaching / recruiting pieces in place already and that all gets retained. I think it bodes well for retaining most of the 2020 class and keeps momentum going for 2021 recruiting. But all the dust hasn't settled yet on this program. I think things will completely settle down once the bowl game is over as Pete's official goodbye occurs and Lake makes the call on any changes to the staff.
Until then, lots of work to do. I heard some vultures have already reached out to commits of ours trying to get visits before LOI, so there you go. The work never ends when your dealing with college football teams and keeping the vultures away.
