He is visiting UCLA today.
UF competes with UCLA in everything. The former Prez of UF once told me UCLA is considered their biggest competitor for students, hiring top profs, getting research grants, athletic program, etc etc. That said, what corch wouldn't prefer the recruiting and competition in the heart of the SEC?
CK is coming on Monday.
you dont know shit about florida.....stick to what you knowPart of the reason he left Oregon was because he didn't like recruiting and dealing with boosters. The expectations are huge at UF and the boosters are involved in everything.
He is familiar with the Pac-12 and the expectations are lower at UCLA. He will opt to be the Bruins new HC for these reasons.

You disagree that expectations at Florida are higher than at UCLA?
Interesting. I'd have thought they were higher at Florida as well.

That is very true. Chip is very strict on nutrition and huge on sports science.I am not sure Kelly fits in the SEC. I am not sure he is ready for the recruiting pressures. He is also pretty particular about the food his players eat. Imagine telling a roster of southern boys no BBQ or fried food.
higher expectations than ucla sure..... unrealistic expectations dj alludes to no. there isnt any pressure at florida at the moment other than to put an exciting product on the field and compete against bama/west in sec ccg. there is no excuse for florida offense being ranked as low as it has for the past 7 years. mcelwain didnt get fired for a bad season this year. he was fired because he was stubborn to keep underlings that were failing and he was terrible against ranked opponents. and the boosters arent any more involved than any other large school, to insinuate otherwise is ignorant. You disagree that expectations at Florida are higher than at UCLA?
