Kristofferson fits right in with my favorite form of Country music, Outlaw Country.

I call him underrated because he's mostly ignored in all time lists, his song writing gets recognition, but I love his voice as well. To me, he's much more than the forgotten member of the Highwaymen that a lot of people make him out to be. I like Waylon and Willie a bit better, but he's not far behind.
