I just wonder what he is doing right now? He has the opportunity of a life time coming up this next season. A chance to convert his biography from the last pick of the draft to NFL starting QB (not necessarily in one year's time). He's coming off an injury (or two) - has had episodes of lapses in maturity - yet as a Jr. in college he was considered a prime QB prospect - with immense success in the SEC. He can make all the throws - commands the field - showed an ability to read defenses and had an upward arch in his proficiency as a college QB. He has the blood lines of Jim Kelly the former great QB - and his uncle's tutelage.

What I hope he's doing is getting 100% ready for the opportunity - impressing his teammates with his dedication - working out with other guys on offense - showing some leadership in the grand objective of raising this team from last year's embarrassments. There's no reason why Chad Kelly can't be a top QB - outside of his commitment to the position, his team and the sport.

Knowing Mingo's spelling he might be talking about Chip Kelly. Just to play it safe he's HC at UCLA :)

Considering the history of 7th round pick QBs in the NFL, he's got a heck of a mountain to climb. Good luck to him. So long as he's in Denver, I'll be rooting for him.
