The fun idea would be Aaron Gordon, his defensive versatility would work here and he is technically in the last year of his deal.
That is at least moderately intriguing.

Yeah, i'm not sure what the price would be.

My guess is Grizzlies, Clippers and bostons 2018, plus Nader and Kadeem Allen has to at least get a legitimate convo started.

The reason i like a move like this is it's really the only way for the Celtics to make a major addition, since they're completely capped out for next year.

Not bad for the young kids so far.

Celtics use of the injury exception needs to only be for someone who they would be interested in resigning.

That leaves me with Ennis (Memphis), Noel (Dallas), Len (Phoenix...maybe. IBWT.), and Aaron Gordon (which would take a lot of draft picks). Seth Curry (also Dallas), Will Barton (Den). Robert Covington would be fun but not sure what it would take.

Not sure who else is out there really. Just been trying to go by ESPN's trade machine.

I also don't know if a player was willing to waive their option if they would then become eligible for the exception, but if so a guy like Corey Joseph or Kyle O'Quinn would be interesting.

'Danny Ainge is stoopid... Jayson Tatum wouldn't crack the top 6 in next year's draft... the glass is half empty!!!'

GMan i think many are still thinking about the NBA like many followed soccer 10 years ago. Its not just finding a player who can play midfield or holding mid but someone who can come back quick on defense or triangle rapicly at the 18 ft line. Todays players have to be very flexible. Its how Bill B builds his linebackers. Just being a 3 or a 4 is simply not as valuable anymore, and we can thank Lebron and Durant for that change

he still wouldn't.

We are probably going to look at 2018 the way we talk about 2003.

Tatum still cant guard a soul, but I do like his rebounding.
