Game Thread: Carolina Panthers @ Seattle Seahawks

Have nothing but respect for Panther fans I have encountered on this board. Carolina has a young team with talent who is playing well right now. Impressive finish to the season to salvage what was deemed a lost one.

But the road ends here.


All 3 games played in the previous 3 seasons have been close and could definitely happen again with the way Carolina's defense is playing. But I lean towards this being a 24-10 game. Seahawks lead the whole way, but the game is close throughout until a crucial turnover late turns this into a two score game and ends that way.

Seahawks defense combined with the Centurylink playoff atmosphere is going to be more than Cam can handle.

Seattle with a healthy O-line for the first time in forever will be nice to see. I'll be interested to see how Cam handles the atmosphere at the Clink. He hasn't put up great numbers against Seattle in the past, but he also hasn't made that many big mistakes leading to turnovers. Wilson has also had a couple pretty solid days throwing the ball against this defense so I would not be surprised to see Seattle toss it around a bit more than usual here.

Will be tough sledding for Carolina tonight in Seattle against the defending champs who are rested and 13-1 in prime time during the PC era. Seahawks win by 17 or so.

Hard to see the Hawks losing unless they give it away, like multiple turnovers. The Panthers have the play makers on D to make that happen. If Seattle keeps the Panther running attack in check and doesnt turn it over they shouldnt have any problem getting the W.
