Yeah, he had to sit out in the Spring as well. Wharton could be solid for depth, imo. We've talked with Travelle Warton also. If Kugbila continues to have hamstring problems bringing him in could be a smart move.

Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman continues to churn the bottom of the 53-man roster, claiming rookie wideout Tavarres King off waivers from the Broncos, the team announced Monday.
To make room for King, the Panthers terminated the contract of cornerback D.J. Moore, who has been sidelined for more than a month with a sprained knee.
Moore, a native of Spartanburg, signed a one-year deal worth $715,000 with the Panthers during the offseason after spending his first four seasons with the Bears.
King, a fifth-round pick from Georgia, had five catches for 64 yards for the Broncos during the preseason, but had not played during the regular season.

Looking back on the season, I believe the only "bad" loss we had this year was to Arizona. Yeah, we blew a couple of leads and people kept saying we wouldn't be really good until we won a close game, however, wasn't the Atlanta game a one score game in the fourth? We stepped on their throat and closed the Niners game out with a great defensive performance. Maybe this team has what it takes to get to the playoff and make some noise.
Going to the Patriots game...looking forward to another "W"!!
