San Francisco scares me. I don't see any weaknesses with these guys right now

are we going to have playoff threads in here for each game or are we just going to NFL general to post in a game thread?

If Landon Collins is around at 25 he'll be a Carolina Panther and they will address the OL in round 2.

DT Soliai agrees to 2-year deal with Panthers

That's one piece of the puzzle for DT depth, gotta see what happens now with Love.

From the article, though, this was interesting:
Soliai, a 2011 Pro Bowl selection, was signed to stop the run and take on double-teams to free up the linebackers to make plays in what was more of a 3-4 hybrid defense under former coach Mike Smith. The attacking 4-3 front implemented by coach Dan Quinn decreased Soliai's value and led to less playing time for a player typically not on the field in passing situations.

What I am really looking forward to this year is our passing game. I fully expect Cam's accuracy to continue to improve. We will have Kelvin back (twin towers with him and Funchess), we will hopefully get to see what the coaching staff believes they have with Steven Hill, will still have outside speed with Corey and Ted Jr, and finally one of the best tight ends in the league. Oh by the way Stewart and Tolbert are good receivers out of the backfield.
That is a pretty friggin awesome group pass catchers. This is gonna be a fun offense to watch.

Yeah, will be good to see K-Benj back. Cotchery is gone, and I hear they're look to maybe pick up a slot guy in the draft, too. I hope for something like this every year, but be great if they picked up Pharoh Cooper from Gamecocks.

Going to be interesting to see who we take first. Lot of value at DE and DT this year. Pass rush was up-and-down last year.

Also, they took the 5th-year option on Lotululei.

I hadn't heard that. Very good. I don't know that they will resign both Lotululei and Short. Probably depends on what they get in the draft, but I bet Starr is gone in 17

I posed a question on the main board wondering why no playing time last year. What say you??
My guess... Tomlin's ego. Not really sure what it was because it wasn't disclosed to the public. Tomlin was asked many times about it, but he always brushed the question off with an indirect answer. It was a shame though. Our secondary was definitely improved as soon as he stepped onto the field. Why Tomlin preferred to watch Antwon Blake get torched game after game made zero sense to anyone watching.

Idk, BB's moved a couple of times, now. He killed the Gamecocks with some punt returns @ UGA, is a great athlete. May be some attitude thing, or he just needs to be in the right atmosphere to develop. I'm guessing Gettleman is going to take in a couple more DB's like this, and see which ones pan out. Still nothing official on Tillman that I've seen, but I assume he's gone.

nothing is wrong. he didn't fit Chip Kelly's desire for big corners and Pitt rarely lets new players play there first year. he is basically a nickel corner and if u leave him there he will be fine. I wouldn't read to much into Philly nor Pit.
