I'd say the difference with Hackett is that he is the fall guy and you fire the fall guy at the end of the season so it doesn't become obvious that he isnt the issue. I do think Hackett is cruising for job loss, though.

Carolina is the poster-child for 'RBs dont matter go get a QB and a LT right away instead' philosophy. Back to back worst QB play in the league (give or take) is not anything any coach would survive. Time for a firesale imo.

He never had a QB in his short time at Carolina, with that roster I wonder if any coach would have been successful? Tepper seems like he makes rash decisions and I think spending the money he did to hire Rhule was not thought out. Draft a QB and develop him.

Yeah, spending like 5 draft picks to end up with mayfield darnold and corral is just not going to cut it for basically anyone
