Alright!!! Some real news!!!

$4 million for 11 years = $2.75 million per year.

I think that's a win-win situation for both sides. Schultz certainly looks like he could be a great defensive player, but we all remember the move from the Rangers' series still. Seems like he gets a nice raise, and we got great value if he continues to improve.

In terms of the cap, the Capitals are making some nice signings this offseason that should not only keep them out of trouble this season and next, but could put them in GREAT shape in a couple years.
