Hmmm, looks like we might have to find a new starter before even thinking about what to do with SS for the long term? (At this rate, we could be talking about 3 consecutive months of >5 ERA for Gonzalez.)

i have always thought of gonzo as ropez 2 good start but wears down over the season . we need to skip a few starts but look at poor lester with the cubs . jake is having a hell'va season and the change helped him so much . i'm happy for jake . look at britton the duke was willing to trade him for ike davis . lmao

Ted, what do you think about Chris Jones? I know he's not on the 40 man roster but we currently only have 38 men on it. Could add him without cutting someone.

Last 10 games 3.29 era 65 innings. 41ks and only 13 walks. Seems like awesome control.

Pathetic loss, this team doesn't deserve the playoffs

Looks like O'Day had an off night at the worst time possible... this is exactly why I like the idea of always having someone warm up in the bullpen just in case.

As for the postseason: My prediction is that 2015 will be similar to 2013... in the sense that the Orioles will probably barely miss the playoffs. For comparison, here's how the Orioles have performed in recent seasons after 121 games:

2015: 62-59, 5.0 GB, 0.5 WCGB; 539 RS, 483 RA, Expected record = 67-54
2014: 69-52, 6.5 GA; 519 RS, 468 RA, Expected record = 66-55
2013: 65-56, 5.5 GB, 3.0 WCGB; 574 RS, 539 RA, Expected record = 64-57
2012: 66-55, 6.0 GB, 2nd wildcard; 509 RS, 552 RA, Expected record = 56-65

0-6 probably going to be 0-7 this year vs the powerful Twins. What a joke. Can't beat a .500 team once all year?

Here we go again....another lead blown in the latter part of the game. I've said it before, I'll say it again - it is truly painful to watch this team play.

I don't know what's worse - Ubaldo or the fact that Buck is leaving him in when he's clearly getting roughed up.

Uchokeo does it again. Not that the Brach is helping much this inning either. Almost wish that we could have did what Detroit realized and just trade your big guys and play for the future when you know there is very little shot at the postseason this year.

Was Buck's fault. Ida pulled him after the 2-run shot, or at most after he gave up the hit after the HR.

I didn't mind Buck giving him a shot after the homerun to redeem himself but when the next batter hit him good as well, that's when you yank him. It's like he instantly became mental midget Daniel Cabrera that inning once someone got on.

It didn't help that the outfield was playing in shallow with 2 outs in the bottom of the 6th on that drive by Infante that led to 3 runs. If they were playing normal depth, then Jones may have had a chance of getting to that ball. It seems like lately they've been getting burned quite a bit by bringing the outfield in with 2 outs. You can imagine the psychological impact that those 3 runs had on the team, especially after leading 3-1 going into the 6th.

I'm sure these guys were already in a bad state of mind after getting swept by the Twins when they definitely could have won 3 of those 4 games but ended up finding ways to lose instead of finding something inside of them like last year to pull those types of games out.
