6th Round Pick CB Tremon Smith out of Central Arkansas is getting a lot of hype as of late from beat guys and coaches. Seems to be the favorite to win the KR job and is threatening for some playing time at CB with how weak KC's CB's outside of Fuller look on paper. Maybe changes if Breeland signs so stay tuned on that, but KC is pretty desperate for CB help right now.

Supposedly he's the 2nd fastest Chief behind Tyreek Hill.

Outside that, it's mostly the expected hypewagons with Watkins, Hill, and Mahomes. Though I have noticed some mumblings about 2nd year player Tanoh Kpassagnon. He has lined up with the 1's a few times and may challenge Dee Ford for starting OLB along with rookie Breeland Speaks. He had two sacks in his lone start last year.

My guess is nothing serious. Just a veterans way of missing some of the dog days of camp. Smart move on his part!

The 6’8 350 pound rugby player Philly got is having issues.

No Wentz in 11 on 11 drills. But does do 7 on 7s

Peters and Sproles evidently healed and ready to roll.

Dallas Goedert has been the star of week one according to the newspapers. Too fast for the LBers and too big for the DBs. Killing it in red zone drills and has been called an Ertz clone.

Good news that I've been able to pick up from guys like @BigKen as well as other media outlets;

Trent Brown a 7th rounder originally selected by the 49ers is 6'-8" 380 lbs and has been a beast that likely wins the LT job replacing Solder. Short arms but quick and POWERFUL. NE traded their 2018 95th pick for Brown and SFs #143. He played RT in SF. Not sure why SF decided to let him go? Any 9er fans want to chime in?

Ryan Lewis at 6'-0" and 200 lbs is making a name for himself to possibly replace Malcolm Butler? Not too different as he was originally signed as an UDFA for AZ. They released him last year and NE placed him on their PS. The kid has been doing everything on the field from covering fast WOs running the post to shiftier guys like Edelman over the middle. literally blew up Tre Flowers in 1 on 1. Flowers has been very quiet and could find himself in a back up role if he doesn't do better.

Cordarelle Patterson likely sticks around as a returner and a WO he's been having a decent camp.

Duke Dawson NEs 2nd round pick out of Florida looks like he may find himself as the starting slot CB. This would be nice as BB hasn't been known for finding DBs in the draft.

Minus Patterson this is very typical of BB and his staff. Getting the most out of guys most hadn't ever heard of.

A little bad news;
Sony Mitchell left practice early the other day with a potential leg injury? Not much more info then that at this point.

Pretty much most people saying he looks really good and then there's the ESPN beat guy talking about camp interceptions, lol. Lot of fun videos of bombs to Watkins and Hill- but that's not really news as we saw that last year minus Watkins.

We all know these players are making crazy $ anyway. So arguing either side is kind of ludicrous.

But I can understand where ET is coming from. There was a lot of frustration in the locker room and along the sidelines. On both sides of the ball and with the coaches.

ET took less to try and keep the LOB and the team competitive. He watched guys leave. He watched guys get traded. He watched guys get paid. As the team started losing, frustrations grew. Then you add to it when you see a traumatic event like what happened to Kam... it changes your perspective.

He says he loves Seattle but like anyone home is still always going to be home.

Jake Kumerow who came from University of Wis Whitewater and won a few Div 3 national championships several years ago and has been on a few teams practice squads since then was picked up by the Packers and has been lighting it up at receiver. If he keeps it up he could make the 53 man roster

Centers don't matter, but Dallas has a good one that was taken in the first round. Reports coming out of camp that he is still good.
