I can hear Mora now: "Well son how would you like to play for us here at UCLA? We can't play in 8 US states including Texas, but we have a great sushi bar in the athletes cafeteria."

You might want to do a google search on bowl games that the PAC is tied into. Three of those games are in the state of Texas, not to mention recruiting in Texas.Outside of one game with Memphis this season that isn't impacted by this law, UCLA doesn't have any games scheduled in these states.

Correct me if I'm worn. This ban "restricts Publicaslly funded travel" And "most state funded travel". So how does this impact private schools athletics, travel and scheduling? I haven't read much about it.And tbh I just don't see this sticking regardless .And SC is a private college and I don't see this effecting their scheduling from what I've readI can hear Mora now: "Well son how would you like to play for us here at UCLA? SC and Stanford are private schools, UCLA and Cal are screwed. I can see those two schools getting kicked to the curb for two new conference members.Correct me if I'm worn. This ban "restricts Publicaslly funded travel" And "most state funded travel". Thats about how I read it.Fuck Cal and UCLA if politics mean more to them than college football. Let em go and replace them.Texas and Oklahoma to the PAC would be even more fitting now imoSC and Stanford are private schools, UCLA and Cal are screwed. I'm thinking replace those two schools with the two Okie schools, Texas and Texas Tech. Move Utah and Colorado to the PAC North and the new members to the PAC South. Yay for PAC-14.Thats about how I read it.Fuck Cal and UCLA if politics mean more to them than college football. SC is a private school.Based on the details of the travel ban. This should hold no bearing on USC and Stanford what so ever. Neither school is state funded.Going off the way this travel ban is written. It should only hit schools like UCLA,Cal etc....This thread sure looks like fun.
Any chance USC won't be able to host my Broncos? Cuz that'd be cool.
The travel ban doesn't just include football. Basketball, gymnastics, baseball, etc ... although football is the money maker. At this point in time its looking like UCLA and Cal are doomed in regards to remaining in the conference. If those contracts were entered into before January of 2017, it doesn't matter. Besides, have you seen UCLA play football? Bowl games? That's funny.

Would suck to lose the UCLA rivalry game. But from a football stand point. The Texas and Oklahoma schools are an upgrade imo. Idk Football > politics if you ask meI'm thinking replace those two schools with the two Okie schools, Texas and Texas Tech. Move Utah and Colorado to the PAC North and the new members to the PAC South. Yay for PAC-14.
Name one P5 school outside the state of California that refuses to play in 8 US states including Texas. If you say so.
I can't see them keeping up.And being able to work around scheduling with the travel ban in regards to their football programsThe travel ban doesn't just include football. Going by the language in the travel ban.SC should be clear of the whole thing smitty. After reading this I'm even more thankful they are a private college. And it shouldn't effect their scheduling based on the way this readsWell shit...
Their recruiting would take a massive hit too.Really bad overall situation for UCLA and Cal across the boardsI can hear Mora now: "Well son how would you like to play for us here at UCLA? We can't play in 8 US states including Texas, but we have a great sushi bar in the athletes cafeteria."
