Yea, right. But, the last time we did that and won the NC too was 14 years ago with John Blake's players. Time for Bob to earn his $5 Million+ annual salary and produce another NC.......with his own players.

Well, you're probably right.. but that's an argument for an OU fan.

I just wish we'd do away w/the national title and stop acting like it's the end all be all and if you don't win it then your season was a bust. I kinda liked the old days where there was no title game, just a bunch of good match-ups. Then it was all up to speculation who the best team was. As we all know, any team is capable of beating another on a given day.. so really, that one NC game has little true meaning.

and they seem to really like tearing them down these days to build the next best thing in its place.

Would have loved to be around to see images like this.. back when people had class and it wasn't popular to leave the house looking like a giant dog turd that hadn't shaved in days.

Look at all the cigs tho, those people smell terrible. Id rather sit next to someone dressed in jeans and a T-shirt with 3 days of beard on his face than have to get all that stinky smoke on me.

You sure you don't wanna add seeing the browns in the super bowl to that list?

I only had two major sports related items that I ever put on a bucket list. One was to go watch Ohio State play for a national championship which I accomplished in 2002, and the other was to go to a Michigan - Ohio State game in Ann Arbor. I accomplished the last one just this year for the first time.

I have been to several other major sporting events, but they were never on a so called bucket list.

v'never had a bucket list...

but a buddy of mine ate a hotdog in every MLB stadium in the country a few years back. (his favorite was the dog he ate in Cincinnati...go figger.)

The nature of my work (requiring bookoo travel - allowing bookoo extra-curricular activities) and a love of spontaneous road trips has garnered me a decent event attendance resume.

Soccer: 1994 World Cup match in Dallas; Club match at Rio's Maracanã Stadium.
Super Bowl: XVII 1983 Pasadena.
Olympics: Montreal 1976; Atlanta 1996; Lake Placid 1980 (popped up to Lake Placid from a business trip, saw the men's DH and left...wish I woulda stayed around for a certain hockey game.)
World Serious: 1995 Atlanta.
Golf: Masters, twice with Tourney Round tix, 8x for Practice Rounds.
Final Four: Detroit 2009.
Hockey: Detroit 2008 game six of Stanley Cup; Ann Arbor 2010 'Big Chill at the Big House' with 113,000 other gelid fans.
CFB: Every B1G stadium except Nebraska; Living in ATL since 1980, have seen GT, UGA, Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, FSU and ECU play at home...add Texas and TAMU.
CBB: Every B1G arena except Nebraska and Penn State; Every ACC except Miami, VTech, Cuse, Pitt and BC; many others.
Kentucky Derby: 3, including the 100th running in 1974.
Racing: 3 Indy 500s, Daytona, MIS, AIS, Talladega, Charlotte, Darlington; a few others.

good thread WT...brings back 'bookoo' good memories.

You don't want to see Oklahoma come down the ramp in Austin? Personally, I would be much happier if OU and UT occasionally had a home/home instead of every game being played in the old Cotton Bowl. I can just imagine the atmosphere in Norman with the Horns in town. Or OU buses lined up outside Darrell Royal Stadium. Talk about exciting!! But, alas, the suits are afraid to do it. No balls.

Don't really have too much and it's mostly baseball. I checked off the Army Navy game a couple years ago when it was at Fedex. I want to go to an All Star Game at Camden Yards (hoping it's coming soon as only Toronto and Tampa have seen a longer drought from the AL and both their stadiums suck) and I want to go to every ballpark with my dad (this was just discussed recently and we've only been to a handful so have a ways to go).

1. FSU/ND game at ND before the latest addition. CHECK! Even better that FSU gave ND their worst home loss.
2. FSU/Clemson game at FSU. CHECK!
3. FSU/UF game. Not done yet. Want to go to both places.
4. Basketball game at IU. CHECK!
5. Basketball game at Purdue(when they were good). CHECK!
6. Bulls with Michael Jordan at the UNited Center. CHECK!
7. Cubs game. CHECK!

Done all but 1. Have no desire for anything NFL, MLB now, or NBA now.

Yeah I could add that to the list. Did see them win their last championship in 1964. Those were the days.

The game is awesome at the old Cotton Bowl. I like that one the way it is.

You should keep Wimbledon and add Wrigley and RRSO/Texas State Fair.

i never got to see the big east tournament in person. The final year of the Big East tourny UCONN was postseason banned and wvu was already gone and it just wasnt complete without those two teams and it just felt too tarnished for me to attend. thats the one thing thats gonna bug me for a long time.
