Oh come on. Hoyer finally gets a decent starting opportunity and blows out his knee in his third game?

I've been saying for years: give Hoyer a shot and he'll be a decent starter. Hope he gets another shot somewhere after that injury.

He'll get another shot with the Browns next season

Looks like Weeden will be the guy going forward unless Hoyer's injury isn't as bad as it looks/sounds. Weededn REALLY needs to work on getting the ball out of his hand quicker. He holds it for far too long and is going to get murdered if he keeps that up. But, he did look ok once he warmed up last night. With an adequate run game, the Browns OL may be able to give Weeden just enough time with some play-actions to keep him alive.

I dont think anything can keep Weeden alive. A QB has to be able to do more than just hand off to a RB. We got stellar receivers who're just going to languish under him & want to move to next yr

If rumors that Freeman & Thigpen are coming to try out are true - youll know beyond a doubt what the Browns game plan is & that Weedens got no part in it
