The team did the same with ex-Colts OC Tom Moore last offseason, and he helped install the Peyton Manning offense with Mike McCoy and Adam Gase. Gibbs will be around longer, working with OL coach Dave Magazu to increase Denver's use of zone-run concepts. Gibbs is considered the Godfather of Zone Blocking, as his old Broncos lines paved the way for Terrell Davis and two Super Bowl wins. New Broncos feature back Montee Ball is an adept one-cut runner.

From rotoworld.

This is interesting, it looks like we will be moving back to more of a zone scheme. Gibbs is the best when it comes to the ZBS, hopefully the line can pick up the changes quickly.

This team is looking more and more like the '98 Broncos 2.0. I can't wait to see Montee Ball in action. His running style will be perfect for the new scheme, or vice versa. And having Alex Gibbs around to work with the line cannot hurt.

This season can't start soon enough.

"The return of offensive line guru Alex Gibbs to the Denver Broncos coaching staff is a significant development for second-round pick Montee Ball. Gibbs' presence alone should be worth a round bump in fantasy football leagues for Broncos backs."

This is great news. I just caught the story on NFL.com piece on rookie camps. How did the local media not catch wind of this?

If Moreno can stay healthy, he might be a good addition to this backfield as I think he could be a good one cut back. I agree though that Ball, which looks like a great addition to the backfield will be Game 1 starter against a Ravens team without the POS Ray Lewis. I would love to see the Broncos get back to 1500-1800 yard rushers year after year. Is it just me, or does that look like Mike "the Marine" Anderson in that #38 jersey?

This thread reminds me of how much I miss Morpheus, Miked and BroncoInCali. They never quite made the full transition from the CBS boards to the Hoop. They were all really good posters. Any idea where they are now @DownSetHutch?

Instead of Gibbs I would rather we hire Tom Nalen as a trainee Coach . Kind of like Miami did to my avatar
