One. The 49ers.

John Elway is the most overrated QB in the history of the NFL. His YPA, passer rating & completion percentage were actually BELOW AVERAGE for the span of his career. He had a 50% completion percentage in his 5 SB appearances for a 59.3 passer rating. 3 TDs & 8 picks.
I agree. Elway is severely overrated. 79.9 QB Rating is not elite at all.

Talking about being fine with having your team be 2-5 because you have been there 7 times made me think...

Which of these records in the SB would you rather have for your team? (I will not list the teams just to try to avoid homerism)

6-2
5-3
3-4
2-5
5-1
4-1
3-2
2-3
2-2
0-4
0-4
1-2
2-0
1-1
0-2
1-0
0-1
0-0

Would you rather be one of the 0-4 teams, or one of the 0-0 teams?

I would pick 6-2 (obviously). You have the most appearances AND the most wins. The losses were rare. Before last year, I would have rather had the 5-0 than the 6-2, but 5-0 does not exist anymore.

Would you rather 5-1 or 5-3? 5-3 has been there more, but the extra appearances have been painful.

I understand there was life before the SB. But this is regarding the SB (and AFL-NFL World Championship Game, as it was called the first year, and only retroactively re-titled SBI) era only.
