This has actually been a decent run (2012-2016) in the FA era...5 yrs.

People that liked the SEA blueprint, and the teams like ATL, and JAX that are trying to mimic it should see that it's harder to maintain a DEF lead team for a long run....particularly when the QB cap hit jumps up to the $100 mil + range.

Really hate that his injury is forcing his retirement. I was at VT same time as him and ran into him a couple of times thru mutual friends. Couldn't have been a nicer, cooler guy. He was on his way to the hall of fame but at least he still had a great career.

And the thing I liked most about all of those massive hits you see, they're all legal. None of that launching shit, using helmet as a weapon, etc. He knew how to properly tackle and still bring Thor's hammer worth of hurt.

I like that kind of tackling.

If i have sons who played Safety. I teach them to make your opponent feel your presence like Kam did to oh so many Wide Receivers or Tight Ends

It amazes me that most folks don't understand how thoroughly the Patriots crushed Seattle's spirit when they mounted the two comebacks and eventually won the SB.

Anybody with a functioning brain knew that the Pete Carroll era was done and all that was left was to watch the pretty colors of the smoldering ruins.
