My old ones had just flat wore out after 20 some plus years. They were hollow foam decoys from the early 80s. The wind had whipped them over the years and the paint was beginning to peel off. Like the new ones better, have metal clips rivited on instead of the old wooden clothespins that were glued on. Of course at the beginning of each season it seemed I was regluing most of the pins back on hoping they would hold in the wind.

Season is just 1 month and 3 days away.

Yeah, they work better for evening shooting. Especially when there is plenty of water and you want to bring them to your location.

I find power lines to be the most useful means of attracting doves. :D
