We usually do well against the Red Sox, but I think you guys have us beat this year. You're starting pitching is amazing and I wish I could say I've been to Fenway. I'm hoping for a Red Sox vs Indians ALCS this year.

Yeah but they way the Red Sox have been playing they are due for a letdown.. I know, I know, mr negative right here but still. Well, the starters have been hit or miss outside of Sale and possibly Pomeranz

One hit. One at bat..... during a series that we didn't win. If the Rangers won that series, you could've realistically pointed to that Mitch home run as the turning point or the moment that the team " woke up", but history remembers winners and not losers. In the grand scheme of things, that home run is meaningless.

I guses Juan Gonzalez's performance against the Yankees in our first ever playoff series was meaningless to you too then. Along with Holland's gem again the Cardinals in 2011 as well.

But at his salary level (think it's $15 mil) is he earning it? A team bargain? Where would you rank him in relation to his salary?

I was on record of thinking when we signed him, that the deal was a good one for all parties. But to date, he's benefited more than the team IMO.

I wish he didnt make as many throwing errors or errors in general but I think he is earning what he is getting paid at the moment
