I may be putting myself out there with some of these, but I'll stick with them right or wrong.

1. Syracuse won't make it past the Sweet 16

2. A 2 seed will lose in the first round this year. Book it.

3. There will be one team in the Double Digits (seeding wise) to make it to the Elite 8.

Can't speak for Syracuse, however items 2 and 3 are a common event so not sure where you are going with this one.

I'm sure those were everyone's feelings last year at this time too.

A 15 seed defeating a 2 seed is a common event? Uhhh. Let's see here.

Since 1985 it's only happened SIX times. In other words, it's only happened in 6 games out of a total of 112 games played in that time frame.

Nice try doe. :yahoo:

Why in the world would I take option 2 when the original option was thrown out like a cheap rag?

I'll give ya a day to think it over. You know...like buying a house, you get a day to call it off. :suds:

I am a bit surprised with respect to all the losses by ranked teams yesterday, that the Cuse is the one you believe is the most ripe for picking. KU losing to OSU. UC/UConn, Crieghton/X, STL/VCU, UK getting cocked. For me it's all about Grant getting back healthy.

SU is struggling on the offensive side so you could be onto something.

For sure I'll take the SU won't make it past the S16 bet. It's all about the match ups but from this point in time, I like that avi bet a bunch.

Up to you sir.

Never said it happened every year, but using your stats; and IMO it's too silly to look something like that up or care....at any rate 6 time in the last 19 years is common....it happens.

IMO, just you doing a cheap shot on a team that is a little down. Wasn't long ago when Arizona lost their way and you were wailing about that as well. Jonvi is sticking by his team; sorry you don't have his class.

If I were you, I would be more concerned about Arizona making the elite 8 and let Jonvi and the other Cuse fans do the same.

Sting is cool. Really no blood, no foul. Looking at that VA game, it's not a stretch to think SU could bail early.

Three 15 seeds have won in the past two years.

2013 Florida Gulf Coast over Georgetown 78-68
2012 Lehigh over Duke 75-70
2012 Norfolk State over Missouri 86-84

To suggest it could happen again in 2014 would not be going out on a limb.

I'm not predicting it so much as hoping that Houston wins its last two regular season games and then at least gets to the finals of the AAC Tournament. I figure doing that will insure at least an NIT spot and it might even be enough to get us to the Big Dance.

Mine is that no B1G teams win a NC, because they prefer FFs only.

Definitely not taking a cheap shot. Just making a prediction. Jesus.

The day Arizona lost their last game and some of you were wailing about how Arizona sucks and will not be a final four team; had someone laid that same prediction on you, there would have been no end to yours and other Zona fans retribution. Waiting a couple of days for the Cuse fans to get over the sting of a loss would have shown some class.

Go back and take a look at some of my posts regarding Arizona at that time. I spent several paragraphs discussing how great a coach Sean Miller is and would have a great chance to put together a better team in spite of losing Brandon Ashley. Your team during the down time barely squeaked by Stanford, lost to Cal and lost to Arizona St, two very mediocre teams. Now you are back and who knows Syracuse, when healthy just might surprise some folks. I am expecting them to bounce back and play some good ball as soon as they have time to heal.

I got to say I agree with you. I was careful to tread around the injuries of Zona and MSU with losses because I respect the Zona MSU guys here. Though I understand it's just a prediction lol, I am certainly not butt hurt over it either, people have there opinions. Go Cuse, this team far exceeded my expectations, with who we
lost, a freshmen PG, lack of a bench and to go 25-0 and have 3 losses is remarkable.

I wasn't even basing this prediction off of Cuse losing to Virginia, because Virginia has proven to be pretty damn good. Making the Elite 8 isn't easy by any means. Do I think Cuse could make it there? Of course. But I'm just making a "BOLD" prediction that's honestly not that bold in the first place and you seem to be getting more upset than Cuse fans were for that. Why are you even bringing Arizona into this?

Cuse has a great coach, one of the best players in the nation in Fair, and a great freshman PG with other solid contributors and I respect them, but I don't think they make the Elite 8. Just my opinion. I didn't know I had to compliment a team before making a simple prediction.
