He is considered one of the better dual threat QB's in the 2015 class. Depending upon which site you look at.

Scout have him as the 25th best QB, Rivals don't have a rating on him yet but it's still early, ESPN also don't have a ranking on him yet, 247sports have him listed as a 4 star.

He loved him so much he replaced him with a redshirt freshman last year and would have played Golson over him this year if he had been able to. He loves Rees because he's the best option he has, maybe you don't recall Hendrix in the second half of the USC game. Plus you love the White Sox almost as bad as the Cubs.

This is a really nice pick up for ND. Hes somewhat been a ND Commit for awhile now. He just wanted to wait until his visit to make it official.

Kid has talent. Great start for the 2015 class.

I think its a bit of a stretch to claim that Kelly "loves" Rees and sees him as a good fit and that its some sort of indictment of his eye for talent. It certainly makes no sense if you are talking about Kelly's recruitment of this QB, for the plain and simple fact that Kelly didn't recruit Rees, Weis did. And its more than a valid point that Rees was replaced by Golson. He was the #2 QB last year and clearly was going to be #2 this year. Judging by what's behind him, he started by default. Its not Kelly or Rees loving to point out the glaring holes in your argument.

Clearly you don't know who you are talking about. I'm about as much a Rees lover as I love the Yankees (which is to say not at all as a Red Sox fan). Kelly loves Rees because Hendrix is the only other option, the fact that you are a White Sox fan is hilarious to me, you love them because you are a fan, Kelly only loves Rees because he doesn't have anywhere else to turn.

i think you have a poor memory. what you say is true today. wasn't true all that long ago when he preferred rees until it finally became obvious to him that he sucked. that's the only reason golson took over. i say he loved tommy. and in a way it's still true he loves tommy because he has him playing as if he were some great passer, practically ignoring his running game until again it FINALLY became obvious to him that maybe tommy costs the team more than he's worth.

Clearly you didn't mentioning that Kelly loves Tommy Rees has nothing to do with Blake Barnett that Kelly is recruiting vs Tommy Rees player that was here when Kelly got to Notre Dame.

while it's now a fact that he had no one else to turn to does not mean he didn't/doesn't love rees. your logic leaves a lot to be desired.

and why not leave the sox and yankees and the redsox out of this? it has absolutely NO bearing on the thread.
