Been a very quiet Patriots Board since Wednesday. No Trolls, no catcalls, seems everyone has the same mysterious illness as Jamie Collins......None the Less...............

Buffalo Bills and their dreaded Head Coach, Rex Ryan will be in Foxboro on Monday to play a football game.

Some of the Bills players have come forward to say that Rex is "The Best Defensive Coach in the history of the NFL." That's why the Bills are undefeated an unscored upon. Wait a minute.....let me check that.....

I'm sorry.....the Bills are 5 - 4 and have given up 207 points

The patriots are 9 - 0 and have given up 169 points.

I guess it's all in your point of view.

Maybe everybody is saving it up for next week against the Broncos!

Anyway looking forward to this game. Going to be interesting to see how NE handles the offense without Edelman in the line up. You can only go next man up for so long before it starts showing up that a team has lesser talent on the field. Even without Edelman though it still comes down to can a defense stop Gronk? I haven't seen one do it yet this year.

Also looking forward to seeing how the Patriots defense handles Tyrod Taylor. They did pretty good the first time. Key for Bills will be to not get down early and have to be fighting back. Need to rely on that run game to stand a chance.

Home game for the Patriots where they hardly lose though doesn't make it seem like Bills have much of a chance. My guess is you guys win by 10

Pats still have plenty of offensive weapons if Lafell, Chandler and Dobson hold onto the ball when they get their opportunities. Likely to see a lot of Blount in this one.
Taylor is a totally different QB now. He had 3 Int's against the Pats and has only one more since.
Pats by 38-27

Damn, that really sucks, this is going to change the game planning a bit, but Pats should be ok. They have many strengths and players who could step up. O-line is the biggest concern, I think.

I'm going out on a limb..................Chris Harper gets targeted 8 times and make 6 catches and two will be for TDs. Harper signed with the Pats, knowing he'd be on the Practice Squad. All he wanted was one chance to play in a regular season game and he says that Belichick will never let him go back to the PS. He played well during the preseason and is fast. He'll get the game ball.

Belichick will give Taylor fits. He will take away his favorite target (Watkins) and limit the running game. Jones and Ninkovich will cut off the outside area out of the pocket and Taylor will be uncomfortable all night.

Supposed to be a rainy day all day in southeastern Mass. The temp will be in the high 40s all day and drop into the low 40s or upper 30s during the game. As cold as Buffalo gets, they have not had temps that cold in Buffalo since last February. Taylor has not played in the cold or rain. Will be a tough night for both teams. 31-17 Pats.

Why is it that everyone is looking forward to playing the Patriots? If they had the offensive line intact, had Deion Lewis and Julian Edelman would they be so gung ho? They're getting back Vollmer and Cannon so they'll have one starter and one back up and possibly Tre Jackson.

The Pats have had a duct tape and elastic band offensive line for the past three weeks and have won all of the games. The offense isn't scoring 38 points a week anymore, but they are scoring close to 30.

Nothing worse than a wounded animal.

Pats will be getting back some core players along the O line, so Brady's protection, at least in theory, should be better than it was versus the Giants. The offensive weapon depletion continues and someone needs to step up to fill the gap. Rex will go all out to contain Gronk and Amendola, which should leave openings for other targets like Lafell, Chandler, Dobson and Harper (if he is active for the game). If the Bills can stop Blount, most of the Pats rushing offense is gone. My major concern, however, is on defense where Collins will definitely miss the game and Jones and Sheard may not be at 100%. Coleman is out as the first CB off the bench (although he was victimized by Manning last week, he is still a cut above Melvin). I expect to see McCourty used frequently at CB. Depth right now is wafer thin and, if he can, Rex will try to exploit mismatches the way Coughlin did.

All week long I have been hearing very positive things from the Pats' brass about James White. I hope the praise has some substance to it and is not just being used to boost his self confidence. All I know is that White came into training camp this year as the player to beat at the third down, change of pace back slot formerly occupied by Shane Vereen, and, beat him they did. First Travaris Cadet, until he was injured, and then Dion Lewis. If White is as good as they are saying he is, then the Pats' offense will get a much needed injection of lightning to go along with Blount's thunder. If not, the offense may struggle to score against top rated defenses. His first test will be tonight. Hopefully, he will pass it.

I've been wondering the same thing? It seems the "in thing" this year is stomach ilnesses? I've seen more players listed on thr injury report like this than I've remembered in the past?
Marshawn Lynch has also been listed with a stomach illness? He's going to see a sport hernia specialist.

I asked this in numerous threads but WHY is Amendola returning kicks when he is the ONLY receiver the patriots have?!?!
