Less than 3 seconds to go. If VCU doesnt foul they have a 99% chance of winning.

I know for a fact it was more than 3 seconds. Maybe under 5 but it was over 3 because I remember saying that VCU still had plenty of time to go length of the court to try and score.

Much like Craft vs Dayton when he just came up short.

They were talking about the billion dollar challenge on CNBC yesterday and mentioned 86% had tOSUx winning. I guess you could call that an upset - but "choke" ain't outta' the question.

No way 86% of all players had tOSU winning.

Maybe in Ohio, but even that's a stretch.

So when tOSU steps ups, comes back, and hits a clutch shot (like always) it is a choke. The Dayton player hit a pretty tough shot, contested well.

I think your love for CUM is getting in the way of your poor decision making.

Why not? They were a 6 seed over an 11, they have name recognition, and that contest (WIN A BILLION DOLLARS LOLOLOLOL) inherently attracts folks beyond those who follow college basketball. I wouldn't be surprised to see 86% pick them to win that game. The Yahoo group had 83.7% of folks pick OSU to win that game.

I think you guys are getting mixed up bettween choke and biggest favorite to lose. Ohio St got beat on a tough game-winning shot, it happens.

But two come to mind.

NC up 16 with 5 to go. Their best player missed 8 free throws and the team missed 17! This is the biggest choke.

But if we are talking one play to decide a game. It is VCU, the game was OVER, up 4. They don't foul on the 3, they win.

My misunderstanding. I thought he meant to win the 'entire' tourney.

I could see 86% picking them to win that one game. yeah.

nc state and its not close. 15 missed free throws in the final 7 minutes

This. Pure definition of a "choke". When your All-American candidate goes 6/13 from the Free Throw line, that is when you have problems.

Yeah...no...I could've been more clear. CNBC said 86% in the billion dollar bracket challenge had OSUx winning that 1st round game they lost.

Obviously Oklahoma State. Everyone had them in the round of 32 to the point I just figured they had a bye. How did they lose to bye?

If you think that then maybe you should take a break from ESPN. Anyone with a basketball mind of their own knew that there was a great chance gonzaga would win that game. I wish ok state had won, would have much rather have played that lazy club than a disciplined gonzaga team

The Q that should be asked Juice...

Are ANY of those billion dollar brackets still alive right now?

No. The last three were knocked out when Memphis won their game last night.

Being that I'm a PAC 12 junkie, I'm gonna go with Colorado for laying the egg that they did against Pitt. The PAC 12 never gets the respect that it deserves and performances like this are one the reasons why. Now, I know Pitt is a solid team and Colorado lost Dinwiddie earlier this year but to lose by 29 in the first round was a let down. Hopefully the PAC 12 teams remaining can make some noise and represent.

It's really really really hard to top fouling a three point shooter ahead by four points with under five seconds to go. I have to give the choke award to VCU. I know the foul was a hard call but man they could have just laid down and still won the game. Unfortunately I had NC State as one of my small upset picks too. I was already penciling in a W.

I'm sorry, but NO FUCKING WAY. Ohio State lost to a very solid Dayton team, and did nothing to "choke" the game away. If you are basing it off of the general public's brackets...just stop

If anything those two teams should have been an 8/9 game, not a 6/11.

Plus, Millers rarely lose in the NCAA tourney :)

I agree. Dayton is suprisingly solid team.

Fun fact: You can't think Juicehead is serious, he is just trolling tOSU like always.

I think its funny how everyone jumps on Iowa's ass for the season they had at the end of the season. Did anyone notice the monumental collapse that Ohio St had? They even had senior leadership that supposedly would keep the team from avoiding the collapse they experienced.

I do remember that, mid season I was really surprised they couldn't come up with something, I wouldn't have pegged them for a first round loss, but shit happens they'll be back next year.

I don't think it is funny how either team's season ended.

Iowa finished the season 1-7 with their only win over the Big 10's last placed team in Purdue.

Ohio State finished the season 6-4 with wins over tournament teams in Michigan State and Nebraska.

The reality is that Ohio State just wasn't as good as their 15-0 start. Obviously neither was Iowa and their 15-3 start.

They both shit the bed, but the bed shitting of Iowa was much shittier than the bed shitting of Ohio State.
