If there was ever a good time for NU to finally beat Daddy, this is the year. Our team really sucks.....

Nebraska is worse and it will be proven in the BWW Bowl.

I am done hijacking the thread.

Congrats to Baylor. Great win for the Bears.

TEXAS played Baylor tougher than any other opponent in Waco.

They are virtually invincible at home.

No team has been with 3 touchdowns at halftime versus Baylor in Waco.

Texas was about 4 inches from having 1st and goal from the 2 yard line in the 4th.

And even after that bad luck....

Texas still was driving in Baylor territory before the blatant pass interference pick six.

.............

Dude did not watch the game at all apparently.

uh, excuse me OU was only down 19 points at the half vs Baylor, FWIW, LOL!~

I stopped watching when Texas had 2 players fight for a fumble they could have recovered for a touchdown. Instead the ball went out of bounds. That might have let them comeback. That's what's become of their team, no teamwork.

Why so down?

Baylor is a freaking juggernaut at home. They won.

It was not some complete collapse of Texas. Texas played them tougher than anyone and lost.

There is not a single team in the entire top 25 (including ALABAMA) who is likely to win in Waco.

Baylor and juggernaut should never be in the same stratosphere. They're much tougher at home than on the road, but slow down with them being unstoppable at Floyd Casey.

Spin it however you'd like, but we just lost the de-facto Big XII CCG to the Baylor Bears...in football.

Let that sink in.

An A&M vs Texas Cotton Bowl would be huge. Just say in......Not that it would happen.

If not for NIU bracket busting, it would have happened last year.

Agreed. The score was actually closer than the play. At the end of day Baylor is better and changes need to happen at Texas

Hey, Texas doesn't get a free pass for having to use its backup quarterback.
Any other program would suffer as well.
But Texas is somehow expected to have an all-American as the backup??

Ash had 34 pass attempts against BYU and TX still got beat down

most of the Big XII teams had to rely on their backup QB this year

Oklahoma State split passes between Walsh and Chelf

OU went back and forth between Knight and Bell

TT split passes between two freshmen (Mayfield, Webb)

TCU split passes between Pachall and Boykin

WV split passes between Trickett and Millard

only other teams are Baylor, K State (who used two QBs), Iowa State, Kansas

Ouchies.

Does it hurt even more to know that, although you beat OU...they will go to a much more prestigious bowl game (maybe even a BCS game), again?

:noidea:

not sure what your point is.

Texas, with it's backup, beat these teams in bold.

We lost against you guise with our backup just like you lost to Baylor with yours.

Funny, innit?

Baylor played 3 road games this season. They won by 10 and 3 versus bad teams.
They lost 32 to the only good team they played on the road.

At home, only one team (TEXAS) even made it as far as halftime with competitive football.
Most games are over by the midpoint of the 2nd quarter in Waco.

The next closest team was OU who trailed by 19 points at halftime.
