TEXAS is extremely injured right now.

The Georgia Bulldogs think we are the most injured team in football.

But based on this season, that will probably mean Texas plays well..... they seem to respond to gloom and doom predictions fairly well.

Weather could be the great equalizer.

If Texas dominates the line of scrimage and runs the ball most of the time, they can win.

OU can win the same way.

I'm hoping cold, wind, snow, ice, etc... The worst nastiest conditions possible. We can beat them in a knock down in the trenches drag out fight.

Sorry, you used up your 'man up' card when you played OU.

Not really. Held TCU and TTech to their lowest points of the season. 9 Sacks vs Tech wasn't too bad. I swear I heard their qb crying uncle in the 3rd quarter.

Baylor is pretty banged up. All-Conference Tackle. All-Conference WR. Lache shoudl be back, not sure at what level. Hagar is likely to be out. He was all-conference, but he is clearly their second best LB. Dixon will miss a half. Injury watch is not completely slanted one way. Texas has more, but Baylor's have more effect

Run, run, and run some more. Texas has to keep the Bears O off the field as much as possible. No way in hell we win if McCoy throws the ball 25+ attempts.

Weather Forecast, 29H at start of game lowering to 28 at end of game. Wind 13mph from direct North, down to 11 mph at end of game, no wind direction change expected. Freakin' cold. Run the ball, no sideline passes we got a chance.

kind of like the fact that Baylor is admittedly playing in their biggest game ever. Have never been to BCS bowl, are closing down the stadium, and, AND...they are wearing some hideous, throwback 1970s era unis.

Think the Horns got a chance.

Stomping the shit out of OU in nice weather is a whole lot different than playing a team like Texas in the freezing cold. Bears will make too many mistakes with everything on the line. Every Horns fan should be pulling for Oklahoma to come through too.

I'm pulling for the Horns. I want Mack to be able to go for the winningest coach in UT football history next year. He deserves a lot better than the BS that's being flung around right now about Saban, Knute Rockne, Barry Switzer or whoever the hell replacing him when the 2013 conference championship still hasn't been decided.

Did Bowling Green just punch a Cotton Bowl invite for the Horns??

I think they go to the Cotton Bowl win or lose now based on likely results elsewhere.

If Texas loses, I cannot see the Sugar bowl passing up an 11-1 Baylor with the impending long term partnership of the Big 12/SEC. It would be a complete dick move and a horrible way for the partnership to start.

OU wont go. They went last year no matter what happens with them.

If OSU wins, they go to the Fiesta.
So, the only scenario would be if OSU lost and the Cotton Bowl picking a 2-loss OSU over a Texas team that hasn't played there in a long time. That is unlikely.

And if Texas wins they would not be high enough to get an at-large so they go to Cotton anyway.

Thank You Bowling Green. It has been a while since Texas played in January and it seems almost set now.

Of course, you never know with back alley bowl sleazeballs......nothing is certain....
