Seeds are from Ranking the Heisman Trophy Winners of the BCS Era on NFL and CFB Success

*Bush is not included on the list, so I put him at #16. Completes the bracket. Ranking is also by their CFB and NFL careers, but it is the best list I found.

Vote solely based on their Heisman winning season.

This Week (Wed-Sun)

Smith had more passing TDs than Crouch had total TDs and just over half the interceptions that Crouch had.

Troy was a real QB

He was more of a real QB than Crouch. .Crouch was great with the option, but his passing stats are not that good. Teddy Ginn Jr help Troy as lot, not only at WR, but as a RET.

Wow, I am shocked on this one. I thought Smith was going to win this one.

Crouch will face Jameis Winston and Smith is eliminated.

06 Heisman was a sham. Sorry, but it is what it is. McFadden was the best player in the country that season. Smith was good, but he wasn't landslide Heisman victory good. It showed in the natty.

Dantzler had far better passing stats than Crouch while only being somewhat worse as a rushing QB (1004 rushing yards on 4.9 YPC and 10 TDs).

Crouch was a lot of fun to watch though.

You can say that about a lot of Heisman trophy years. At the time of the voting, Smith had been dominant in leading OSU to a wire-to-wire unbeaten season as the #1 team. His numbers were fantastic, and despite playing in a very slow, ball-control type of offense where fireworks rarely happened, he was still near the top of all BCS QBs in QBR, TDs,, YPA, and TD:INT ratio
