For me, I'd have to say that there was a Shinedown show last year w/ P.O.D. and 3 Days Grace that was really good. Went to the Lexington, KY show. I highly recommend seeing a Shinedown concert if you ever get a chance.

I also enjoyed another Shinedown show back in Sept. I didn't get to see the first 2 bands (didn't know the first band and hate In This Moment so no big loss) but the bands I did get to see (Skillet, Papa Roach and Shinedown) gave a hell of a show.

Pink Floyd. Tops all.

The GnR / Metallica , Faith No More show in 92' might be second. But really... I was there for Metallica. GnR never was my thing.

I saw Skynyrd their first show back in Greenville S.C. 1992, since the plane crash in 1977. Their last concert before the crash was in Greenville.

Saw the Eagles on the Hell Freezes Over Tour. I was mad that they didn't play "Seven Bridges Road." I was shouting obscenities at the stage going out.

I saw Boston on the "Walk On" tour in Charlotte.

A small venue concert that was great was Tesla.

Both Pink Floyd concerts at County Stadium
Ten Years After with Fleetwood Mac as the opener
The Doobie Brothers and Humble Pie at Summerfest
Yes 25th Anniversary Tour
David Bowie at Marcus Ampitheater - 1990
Led Zeppelin in 77 at Chicago

I was fortunate to see many of the classic groups in their prime. Too bad a lot of it is a blur :L

craziest shows I've ever been to

Clash of the Titans (Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax and a fresh-faced Alice in Chains....I was like 13 or 14) Venue's first venture into no General Admission......didn't go well.

White Zombie on Halloween night in Vegas on shrooms. (fucking ghouls and monsters walking around everywhere)

At another Zombie show, I watched some crazy fucker jump off a balcony that was easily 20 feet up, right into a crowd of unsuspecting people. I woulda fucking killed him.

Consumed more drugs at one time than I ever had/have at a Dead show, then drove a strangers car home after.

Had to hitch hike home from another Dead show trippin' bawls.

Damn...so many concerts over the years

Pat Metheny Group at the Greek Theatre in LA.

Pat Metheny was the best concert I'd ever seen too; at the Orpheum in Vancouver ('95).

ZZ Top w/ Aerosmith opening at the San Diego Sports Arena in 1975. ZZ Top was out touring in support of their LP, "Fandango". They blew the lid off the place! Even the security guards were dancing and jumping around during "La Grange." I have never seen that kind of energy at a concert before, especially considering it was 'laid back San Diego.'

Clash of the Titans was great. The only reason I was there as Alice in Chains.

Saw the Dead and JGB tons of times. The Las Vegas shows were always my favorite.

Best non-Dead non-JGB concert? The Cure at the Pantages Theater in November 2011. They played their first 3 albums in their entirety and then proceeded to play tons of hits. They must have played for 3 hours. Robert Smith sounded just as good as ever. They are headlining Bottle Rock up in Napa this summer. Gonna have to make that trip for sure!

BOC's concerts in the mid-to-late 70's with the lasers were dynamite, best laser show of any of the bands that used them back then.

Saw them in Montgomery in the late 70's. I was a fan long before anyone had heard of them. Best concert ever and I've seen Led Zep, Black Sabbath, Journey, The Doobie Brothers, Aerosmith, Black Oak Arkansas, Elvis and some that I've forgotten.

Whoa you guys are hella old! :D

Best concert I've been to was probably the time I saw the Roots about ten years ago at a outdoor festival in Madison. It was July and pouring rain with lightening. And they played on and on and on in the rain and ?uestlove had an insane drum solo...

I hate the rain more than most things in the world but it was well worth the complete soaking..
