All I claimed was the truth. Baylor beat K.State by more than Oregon. You were the 1st to get your feelings hurt.

didn't Oregon lose to a higher ranked team than Alabama did by a lesser margin?

I dunno about all that. I have seen them get a couple of notable recruits recently, but no more than the average middle-of-the-pack teams in the other BCS conferences. I like Briles, but I don't know if he'll ever be able to get the momentum to overcome the teams like A&M, UT, and Oklahoma taking the top prospects in the area, with other teams like Oregon, Ohio State, LSU and Bama also showing a strong presence. They are like Michigan State in the B1G. They have a great coach and are in the middle of an area with tons of talent, but they are simply outmuscled. They'll put together a real good year or two here and there, but they are likely not gonna win the conference.

All I got to say is, you don't want your team to play Baylor.

If you're team is really good, like top 5 or so good, then you'll probably win. But, maybe not. And I know you'll have a stressful couple of hours.

Welcome to poll life, the human component. Didn't Oregon lose later in the year than 'Bama did?

Good call TexasExes.

I would have been more impressed if you would have told me Baylor would be averaging 70 points per game and 780 yards per game. That is insane.

Doesn't Baylor basically have the same OOC schedule for the next four years?

I thought that Texas would buy Art Briles from Baylor, but from what some of the Texas posters have said, it sounds like Art Briles is not thought of very highly in Austin.
