The Baltimore Orioles-Chicago White Sox series finale will be played on Wednesday -- in an empty Camden Yards:


This will be really weird and really interesting should be fun game to watch.

Now the cancelled games are going to be road games in Tampa and no public admitted to tomorrows game. Awful lot of people who live paycheck to paycheck that work in and around Camden, not to mention the businesses in the inner Harbor are going to take a beating monetarily. The Orioles should just announce that due to circumstances beyond their control, they are relocating the rest of their home games to Washington. And if things don't calm down, then they will relocate across the border to Montreal. After ten years sans baseball, I am sure that the French Canadians will pack Olympic Stadium for every home game. As long as there is a Mrs. Mayor of Baltimore, the city will be at risk for more riots. What Baltimore needs is Guiliani as its Mayor, not that bitch trying to get on TV.

How will the PA system be controlled? Will the PA still announce the Rays as the home guys? Will the O's get walk-up music?

Don't get the logic in calling Baltimore the home team vs Tampa instead of just swapping series with Tampa. The next series that Baltimore was supposed to play in Tampa should be in Baltimore

This is stupid! if you are doing for safety reasons, why are you still playing the game in Baltimore, the riots are still going on outside and the players can still get in trouble... So why not move the game? you'd still be the home team

Tampa will still be considered the "home team" in the stats but the O's will bat last. I doubt the Rays would want to lose the other home series for this one. They have trouble enough drawing and these games likely won't draw flies on the short notice. The other games, that have been scheduled for a while will probably have a minimum of 5000 more people per game. These next 3 are going to look like a 1pm Wednesday make up game of a rain out.
