this is where banner ideas will be submitted. as soon as we have decided what we want i will contact the administrators and hopefully it can get done quickly. finding an IT guy would be huge

Well obviously, you have to put Commanders in there and the new helmet.

Since some people think that Commanders ties in with the redskins history because of the colors , players, etc and some do not, a compromise would be a simple banner with the word commanders on it.

Personally, I’d wait to include any players on the banner bc they havent done anything to deserve to be memorialized - yet.

I also like skinsdad’s “xskins” nickname, again until the Commanders do something noteworthy.

My thoughts are this .... do not use any former Redskins on this banner. They are/were not Commanders. Maybe just put Dan and Jason on the banner since they created this mess.

Reasonably, it might be better to put up a simple "Washington Commanders" banner for now to allow time for emotions to settle a bit. Then as cooler heads prevail a worthy banner truly representing the members of this board can be constructed.

Anybody know the psychological part of this name .. Commanders vs Redhogs ,warrior's or Hogs .. Do guys even now what Games and Theory is or means.. just a example you can do the research.. how do you feel putting on a white shirt vs putting on a black shirt .. my kids all went school for psychology .. they said dad what's the first thing that comes to mind when I say commanders . I said toughness.. then she asked dad what's the first thing to come to mine when I say Redskins I said pathetic... No means I am saying Commanders will win alot games what I am saying putting that commander uniform on on Sundays might just might mean more
