I divided 37:47 by 82, that's how I got 45 seconds, which is wrong

My point was don't look at the amount of plays by itself, look at the amount of plays in relation to the time of possession.

We ran 82 plays in 37:47
Oregon ran 71 plays in 20:56

You have teams like Oregon that run hunh for a half , are ahead by 35 at half. And then run the clock out in the 3rd and or 4th quarter. So what you get left with is a number of plays that is relative to the speed they went in the 1st half, or vice versa, how slow they went in the 2nd half.

I come back from game after week 1 and read this board. It's incredible. Only so much dumb a guy can deal with.
