Well it is a breath of fresh air to have a coach here take responsibility.

I guess Gary patterson can't coach either...his team is 3-5 as well, they should probably fire him and start over with someone who knows more about hornedfrogs.

Yea I thought a good name for this weeks game could be the Irony bowl. I felt TCU would actually be a strong contender for the B12 this year before the season began... Ouch!

I think that is a great aritcle that puts alot of perspective of what transition looks like when you have as much turnover in coaches...as I have elluded to before...and the fact you are recruiting differently than you did when playing in the Big East...you are looking for a different type of player....and right now Wv is cycling thru previous recruiting classes to put BIG12 players on the field...

Actually it is pretty amazing TCU has gone the same path as WVU, 2011 they were 11-2, last year 7-6, this year 3-5 at same point. I guess patterson can't coach anymore, they really should get them out of there.

Patterson has been there for 12 years has plenty of exp and is struggling just like we are....OPEN your freakin eyes people, no easy fix to this situation. Patience. I forgot we are to proud a people to work with a outsider, need to get another "good ol boy" in there...pathetic.

This is a coach and a team that had 7 10 plus win seasons leading up to entry into the big 12, 2 BCS bowls (1win) and they are right in the middle of some of the best recruiting grounds in the US.

Yey i wonder if their fans are calling for a TCU guy...or two years removed from going 11-2 claiming he can't coach a lick....and these are all his players.

I think its a great comment to make...you can look around the country at elite programs around the country and see what they go thru when there is change...ie...Auburn..Michigan..USC..Tennessee ( Which to me parallels Wv situation to a tee other than being in the same conference)...Miami ( Can't even cheat there way around change)...Florida...Florida State..

The only program that I am aware of that had a HC change and Conference change as was successful is Texas A&M...
