Reggie Bush got 9 carries and Joique Bell got 8 carries and they combined for 56 yards together. As a team on 20 carries they only totaled 49 yards going for 2.5 ypc.

We also shut down Martin who had averaged 99 yards per game coming into the AZ game. And the rookie QB was actually more effective than Freeman had been in the previous games so that argument is moot. Martin only totaled 45 yards on TWENTY SEVEN carries.... 1.5 ypc. The Rams and Saints don't have much of a running game sure, but all I'm saying is we've done a great job of containing the run.

I understand your point but when your defense has to account for Cam's ability to run it opens things up a bit. I think all it will take to win this game is 15 points and it will be the Panthers on top.

I just think we will hold them under 15. Fitz and Palmer have not shown any magic but they could certainly go off at any time.

i do not think our secondary matches that well with thier WR. thats why i say we need to get preassure on Palmer early and get him uncomfertable early and keep him that way. if he gets time in the pocket those WR are big and can get down field quickly we could be in trouble.

but AZ just traded thier Lt in Levi Brown and while i do not think that is a big loss on thier part it does add more question marks regarding thier offensive line so we should control that part of the game.

Fitzgerald (21 catches/11.7 ypc, 3 TDs) is the guy to look out for, though his longest catch on the year has been 26 yards (so far, knock on wood). The #2 wideout is Michael Floyd (16 catches/15 ypc, 0 TDs) -> 5 of them were over 20 yards, and he has a 44 yarder. Their top back is Rashard Mendenhall (52 for 176). One of the backups is Andre Ellington, who I saw a lot of when he was a Clemson Tater, and is fast and big-play capable. You gotta think maybe Carson P will be looking out of the corner of his eye for Hardy, after that big lick he took last year in the Raider game.

he is also your best pass rusher if i am not mistaken. that being said i think your lack of running game and O line is the deciding factor. we will pressure Palmer all day and in the end because your defense will have been on the field so long we will be able to run the ball and that is what will finish the game
