1993 Eastern Conference Finals...

- Bulls are 2-time defending champions
- Marked the 3rd straight year the two teams met in the playoffs
- The previous season, the Knicks pushed the Bulls to the brink in a 7 game series
- With 60 wins, the Knicks finished 3 games better than the Bulls and had home court advantage

After another solid off-season of improving the roster many expected New York to finally dethrone Chicago after two-straight championships.
(Greatest Games Ever Played: 1993 NBA Eastern Conference Finals - Game 5)

*potential* 2014 Eastern Conference Finals...

- Heat are 2-time defending champions
- Would mark the 3rd straight year they meet in the playoffs
- The previous season, the Pacers pushed the Heat to the brink in a 7 game series
- The Pacers are on track to eclipse 60 games and currently hold a 4 game lead on the heat

It is becoming a popular belief that the Pacers may be able to finally dethrone the Heat.

The story lines are going to be fantastic this year, I really hope that the game is allowed to be played fairly.

People wish the NBA was as fierce and competitive as it was back in the 90s. Im sure you might see Pacers heat in the ECF. But after a loss both teams will be laughing and hugging it out afterwards.

No they won't...unless Indy really thinks they have a shot at getting LBJ in the offseason.

This is a conundrum for me... Pacers with LBJ would be good but, I hate the thought of it.

Now you're just talking bullshit. In the playoffs no team laugh and hug it out until after the series and in the Pacers/Heat case, they don't even shake hand/hug it out in the regular season games before or after the games. Stop making it up BS

ive said this before.. yes. the pacers are our knicks. they may force a game 7.. they will never win it. the rivalry is insanely one sided as far as outcome goes... but a good one to watch.

the pacers are solid.. but paul george cant score when lebron is on him. when miami goes small and puts bosh at center hibbert gets into foul trouble insanely fast. miami will come out on top again this year. when miami had to win last year, indy got beat by 20+.

Does Indy have the same team?

It was really boring this year to watch this series. Last year yes. Pacers took a step backwards. I think they might of missed their chance. I don't see this team getting better. They might lose Stevenson and West is becoming Boozer.
