I just went and looked back at SOS for those teams that were #18.........no wonder they all fell out of the top 25.

75% of them had SOS's ranked in the teens or better......a few more were ranked in the top 30.

Nebraska's preseason SOS is #66 according to Phil Steele. There was one team who had an easier schedule than Nebraska and that was Boise State in 2005 with a SOS of #92......they went 9-4. That is not too surprising.

Oh really?
