One of the biggest questions last year about Nebraska’s Prince Amukamara (now a New York Giant) was why opposing teams were so willing to challenge a first-round caliber prospect. The answer, quite simply, was Alfonzo Dennard. Dennard may not have the size of Amukamara, but he’s a better athlete and the kind of aggressive man-to-man cover corner Detroit needs. The defensive backfield was woefully thin down the stretch for the Lions and Dennard brings the upgrade in talent the franchise desperately needs

Detroit needs so much help on D it's ridiculous, S DE CB LB's, a good lock down corner would make sense, but so would a new DC, the entire secondary is shit. I didn't even bother to watch their first playoff game since the Barry days for that very reason, and Ive been a Lions fan for many years.

True they need a shutdown CB... Houston is very good but not a stud #1.

S delmas is very good also... Those are the only 2 worth a shit...

Offseason needs are CB, S and OLB

Gunther Cunningham is getting blamed but I dont agree.

Detroit had 41 sacks this year and 22 interceptions (Approx numbers)

Those are the highest they've had in many years.

Growing up in Metro Detroit I have followed them for almost 40 years now...

Other than the Barry years this years team hands down played the best I've ever seen.

Get those 3 spots fixed... Stay healty (Fairley, Leashore and Best)

And build on this year for a better year next year.

Im all for getting Dennard but I dont think he's there at 22 or 23 whatever Detroit picks... BUT I HOPE SO
