ESPN.com just put up an article on Chris Young's season to this point. They've officially taken notice of the Mariners.

Yet, when they speak of the heated AL West race as recent as last night the M's don't even make the segment. At 5.5 games back, great winning percentage overall since the deadline, and the best pitching in the league we still "just hold" the second wild card spot. Another Seattle team flying under the radar, they'll know who we are soon enough.

Yes, the folks on the TV side have been more reluctant to recognize what the M's, as a team, have been doing this year than the folks on the .com side have, but if the M's keep playing like they have been, they'll have no choice but to recognize it at some point.
