OK, I'm going with option 2. That would probably dismantle the team and mean the Skins paid him almost $80M for 3 years because they couldn't make up their minds and didn't want to pay him...

They have backed themselves into a corner now, in that if they were to sign him to a long term deal, it would end up being $6-$7 million a year more that it would have been if they had just extended him a few years ago. In other words, including the extra money they game him because of the franchise tags, they'll end up paying him an extra $50 million plus BECAUSE THEY ARE FUCKING STUPID

With the skins? No chance. They are going to have to beat that $35 per for at least one guaranteed year. Then tack on to that the "fuck you" money because of the way he was treated early on when RGKnee was the darling child. Snyder can't afford to make good, that ship has sailed. Skins are going to lose their QB, but it's not a huge loss. Cousins isn't that great to begin with, but someone will overpay him. He's an average QB who is in a spot to make a lot of money because average QB's don't hit FA that often.
